Poland speeds up
In close collaboration with local partner Enigma, secunet implemented 77 eGates into the border control infrastructure at the airports of Warsaw, Warsaw-Modlin, Krakow, Poznan, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Rzeszow. The project also includes long-term maintenance and service contracts. Enigma provides on-site support through hardware maintenance and first-level support. Passengers use the secunet easygate for both entry and exit, allowing them to cross the border independently and in the shortest possible time. All eGates have facial recognition, including Presentation Attack Detection (PAD), and some of them with fingerprint recognition. The components are integrated into the national border control system and include background checks and document verification. Together with its partner Enigma, secunet also offers training for users, administrators and hardware support.
Poland has relied on secunet's technology since 2018. The further expansion of the border control infrastructure underlines the successful partnership. The easygates ensure that border control at Poland's international airports remains fast, simple and secure. Especially with the introduction oft the Entry/Exit System (EES).

Enigma„secunet easygates has made border control much more efficient at several international airports in Poland. Our long-standing positive experience with secunet's technology led us to expand easygate lanes to more airports. This expansion has greatly the workload for border control officers. secunet is a reliable partner, especially with the upcoming implementation of the EES.“
